first week of my last semester = complete

Listening to it as I write on here because sleeps not too immediate tonight. Gotta love how he plays tribute to Pharcyde at the end with their own video showing the same slow-motion-backwards concept.


I finished my first week of my last semester as an undergrad. Still don't really have a feel for how things will pan out studying wise and seeing certain people and stuff, but overall it was a pretty good week. The Media Strategy Sessions went well on Tuesday for CPPW, just a little bummed I missed the executive session with all the big wigs. I was hoping to see their takes on certain media presentations when put on the spot by the CDC trainers.


Professor Lea was of course awesome and I think I'm really going to enjoy TA-ing for her this semester. Also, INCREDIBLY psyched to present my mini-grant proposal again with the awesome Ms. Caroline Margulis. Kinda feel a little bad that I couldn't even remember the third girl in our group's name (which I now remember was Ashley), but it's the chick's own fault she was never involved that I don't remember her!


I'm still not all that tired, but it's already 1:30AM and I do have to work tomorrow. I'll probably dig up an old book and hopefully it won't be too much longer that I'm up. Pretty epic talk with the boyfriend just before now, hopefully what we talked about will be good. Love him...

Enjoyed a rather spectacular sunset with Mr. Briggs Saturday [1/15] night. Quite lovely =] Hooray for mini road trips with Pocholo Francisco and Krizza Leigh Ruiz. I had a relaxing weekend, short but sweet.

it's official!

So giddy and I don't care if it makes me a nerd, haha. Met with Carey Riccitelli, Supervising Community Health Promotion Specialist of North Regions for San Diego County HHSA, today to go over my resume and interests and... I got accepted to intern for HHSA! SO ECSTATIC. I love the team and I cannot wait to work with all of them. Met so many people in just my first day and I know this is a great first step to be taking. Thank you Lord for this opportunity, I'm taking it and running with it people! YES!!
